Overseer, Apostle Benny L. Dozier & Pastor Geraldine Dozier
Apostle Benny L. Dozier, Sr. was born January 23, 1954 in Lakeland, Georgia to Phillip and Ada Dozier. Apostle Dozier graduated from Wewahitchka High School in Wewahitchka, Florida in 1972. He moved to Chicago, Illinois in 1973, where he was employed by Acme Steel located at 10731 South Avenue in Chicago. Apostle Dozier married Geraldine Glover on July 25, 1975 in Chicago, Illinois.
Apostle Dozier received his Bachelor of Ministry degree from Wagner Leadership Institute. He is currently enrolled at Christian International School of Theology pursuing his Masters of Theology degree.
Standing by his side in the gospel, Pastor Geraldine Dozier (Pastor Gerry, as she is affectionately known) is an awesome woman of God. Pastor Gerry is currently enrolled in Moody Bible College's undergraduate program, pursuing her bachelor's degree. Pastor Gerry has been saved for 30 years and has a great calling and passion to help advance the kingdom by ministering to women and pastor's wives.
This great woman of God is a steady rock as she stands next to Apostle Dozier, who loves her dearly. She has been married to Apostle Benny L. Dozier Sr. for 31 years and resides in a suburb of Chicago, Illinois. They have two sons, Ben Jr. and Darryl, a daughter-in-law, Chanan, and grandchild, Chayil.
In 1996, God call this great man of God to the office of Apostle and he was installed as an Apostle on April 24, 1999.
In August 2001, God began to deal with Apostle Dozier about an apostolic joining and lead him to Milwaukee, Wisconsin. In November of 2001, we experienced an apostolic move of God when God joined Calvary Temple C.B.C. of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, whose pastor is Pastor Rosie Harvey to this apostolic ministry. We are now One Church in Four Locations with Power & Light Church in South Holland, Illinois; Power & Light Church in Gary, Indiana; Resurrection Power Ministries in Milwaukee (formally named Calvary Temple); and Emmanuel Baptist Church in Fort Wayne, Indiana (A.P.I.N). Apostle Dozier has taken a ministry that started with the anointing and did exactly what God told him. Because of his obedience and faithfulness to God, his family, and this ministry, God has blessed us tremendously with vision to live and be healthy, doing it God's way.
